First time upgrading back to back years, it’s not as expensive as everyone makes it seem.

My s24u had grain and pretty bad gradient color banding so I was always planning on trading it if I could find a good enough deal. $900 for the trade in and I got a $200 Best Buy gift card as well. I was going to have to spend $200 at Best Buy in the near future for something I have coming up anyways so I’m taking that off the price too. That means I essentially paid $200 to upgrade this year. I’ve spent $200 dumber ways. It’s not something I’m going to make a habit of but Samsung might be the only company where upgrading yearly isn’t some ridiculous thing if you enjoy having the newest tech. People talk about it like you’re buying a $1,300 phone every year.
