Scooping formula versus weighing on a scale?
New parent to a 1 week old.
My formula (similac 360) has a scoop and on the box it says 1 scoop equals about .2 ounces.
I’m someone who usually weighs my own food so I decided to weigh the unpacked but level scoop. In most cases it was significantly over .2 ounces.
I tend to weigh things because it’s easier and one time scooping formula I was so tired I forgot how many scoops I put and relied on the scale.
I want to make sure that if I’m weighing .2 ounces and that equates to less than a full scoop that I am not under serving formula.
