Am I crazy?

We had sewer back up into our basement. We used the same company for remediation as well as installation of the new floor. I know literally nothing about flooring, but this doesn’t look super great to me. Added bonus: he asked me for a hand towel and a basket. I then found said basket full of sopping wet blankets from the basement(???????). Is this as bad as I think it is? Just want to ensure I’m not being dramatic.
