Dividing the dose

I have been taking 50mg for over half a year. It’s been working great. But recently I realized the first few hours it makes me a bit anxious. Once I get into work, I am too busy to think about it and the anxiety goes down through the day.

Is it possible to open the pill and divide it into a smaller dose? I already have 3 months supply at home.
