Difficulty spikes for no reason?

Wondering if anyone has seen random difficulty spikes in the computer? I play an online dynasty (All American with sliders) and I feel at random times that some teams are insanely good for no reason. Anyone else notice this? Like your 1-9 Texas, 5-5 FSU, or just random bad team will be insanely good out of nowhere when you play them. Had 5-5 FSU become unstoppable on me last night. Their QB was 19/20 362 yards 5 TDs and averaged 19 yards a throw. Nothing i did affected him. Zone, man, blitzes all did nothing. Sacked him like 7 or 8 times, but he just shook it off and beamed lasers downfield. Anyone else see games like this?
