STR SSBE Vegeta vs AGL SSJ4 Goku

Vegeta has:

Conditional 30% DR start of turn intro which, if you’re lucky goes up to 60% for 1 turn and drops to 30 on the next. If you have average luck however (including realities where this “behemoth” needs to go to - or is locked in - slot 3) your start of turn DR will drop to 0 for 1 turn and then rise back up to 30%.

A bit of extra DR post super - though how much is based on luck

Good damage on average (if you ignore existing and future damage floors)

Once per turn, a conditional 50% ATK stack

Rainbow Orb changing

Guaranteed crit after 7 supers (lol)

————————- Goku has:

70% Dodge until rage-mode

Guard

50% -> 70% DEF Support for PBSS / GAP

An Active Skill (<=70% HP or Turn 5)

Rage-mode (you can counter coercion and have a good chance at disabling other boss abilities)

24Ki Crits -> Guaranteed Crits

10% DR Support for PBSS/GAP

2-Turn 44% ATK and DEF Support for all allies on super

Repeatable 44% HP healing when under 44% HP

THREE Ki mechanics

24Ki Additional Super

ATK and DEF stacking on both 12 and 18 Ki

No reliance on TEQ UI Goku

Very good damage

The ability to carry a team

No (turn-limited) intro effect, since giving a unit a damage and DR intro in a long fight meta where damage floors exist is silly. I wonder who they could have given this to.

Great, new animations

Glorious card art

—————— Other comments:

It is comical that 10th Anniversary Carnival LR STR SSBE Vegeta’s peak start of turn damage reduction (60%) is lower than the Goku portion’s of Super Vegito’s peak (70% in slot 2/3). Bear in mind the requirement for SSBE Vegeta’s peak is to launch 6 supers within 4 turns of him appearing (so the intro still is up for by his 6th turn) and the existence of another USS unit. Goku’s peak DR requirement is simply to exist outside of slot 1 and then switch to Vegeta when possible.

It is also comical that 10th Anniversary Carnival LR STR SSBE Vegeta has less start of turn damage reduction than the INT EZA counterpart for all but 1 potential turn. No guard or revive either. Or active skill.

It is also comical that 10th Anniversary Carnival LR STR SSBE Vegeta doesn’t heal at all, despite both of the other part 1 LRs doing so. They also have active skills, funnily enough.
