How was your experience in getting price adjustment after the 30 day period?

I'm considering returning an item and repurchasing it due to the deep discount that's being offered right now. Has anybody try this before?

Edit: spoke to online reap and explained I'm gonna return and repurchase... They gave me an exemption and credited the difference.
