My first deen experience!
I stumbled across this sub ($40 canned crab post lured me in) a few weeks ago and was instantly inspired by everyone's passion for canned fish, so I snagged this can of Matiz on a whim from my local Shoprite.
My only experience with canned fish has been run of the mill tuna, which i love, so I was willing to give sardines a shot and... wow was I shocked with how good these were. A dash of black pepper and I was sailing down to flavor town. The brineyness, olive oil, and flakey texture of the deen comes together so well that it had me scarfing it down like an animal.
I want to try some canned crab next (big fan of snow crab legs) if anyone can recommend something reasonable and available in or ships to the NE USA.
