Bro, what is actually even happening with Bambu Lab?

I genuinely don't know why people are freaking out so much and acting so chaotic. Would anybody explain to me, in CLEAR terms, what Bambu Lab did and why it is an issue before I roll my eyes out of my face reading another post? Thanks!
