Planning to buy some jockstraps for the first time. Tips??

I'm planning to buy some jockstraps for the first time.

They're all from TEAMM8. Looks fun, love them.

But I need some advice on the sizing.

If I wear a 42 waist for my pants, do I follow that size? That'd be XXL for the jockstraps.

Just hoping the straps especially aren't too loose?
