Benro Polaris Astro worth it in 2024?
I have been using an iOptron sky guider Pro with ipolar alignment camera for the better part of six years now, but don’t use it as often as I’d like because of the difficulty of acquiring targets and the weight of the whole setup for using it with my long telephoto lens and full frame camera body. I’ve been looking at go-to mounts and I’m really intrigued by the Benro Polaris Astro version’s features and compact size. I’ve watched the YouTube review and user videos, but the majority of them are a year or more old. I was hoping someone on this subreddit could answer a few questions: * have they added 2-star alignment to the app? * how well does it handle 400-600mm focal lengths? What exposure lengths are you able to get? * has the available target database been updated as the app has been?
